We offer two ways to access our testing which can be purchase below:

  • Test Centres - AssuredScreening.com operates regional test centres throughout the UK. These provide the quickest way to access our testing via instant appointments. Our Test Centres provide different turnaround options including Same Day and Next Day services. The test centre service operates 7 days per week.
  • At home testing - AssuredScreening.com operates Monday to Friday dispatch and delivery working on our home testing service. Test kits can be returned via Royal Mail priority post boxes (note that Royal Mail does not work on Sundays and so turnaround times are extended), or when time is critical, we advise customers to return via our network of Drop Boxes locations (Some of which operate 7 days per week). About the test:

The laboratory multiplex RT-qPCR kit uses proven primer and probe sequences targeting two different genes from SARS-CoV-2 (assay N1 and assay E) and an internal human control (assay RP). This internal human control ensures that a sufficient quantity of human genetic material has been collected during the sampling process and reduces the risk of false negatives from poorly sampled or unused swabs. The primer and probe sequences have been previously defined by the US Centre for Disease Control (CDC) and the World Health Organisation (WHO) and have been extensively validated for the detection of COVID-19. Our test kits have been independently verified to achieve:

  • Test Specificity 99%.
  • Test Sensitivity 99.43%.

AssuredScreening.com is approved by the Department of Health and Social Care to carry out COVID testing for General Population (Outbound Travel, Workplace, Home), Test to Release and International Arrivals. The company is UKAS accredited for COVID testing under ISO17025

Top Tips for booking a test:

  • Understand the advice for your destination country and any transiting countries.
  • Don't wait until the last minute to book your test - all of our services have capacity cut offs and may become unavailable during periods of high demand.
  • If choosing our at home testing service, take your test test in plenty of time, returning by a suitable means to our laboratory for your time requirement.
  • Be realistic - Plan your test to allow you plenty of time to receive your result. Eg, don't select a service that is timed to provide a result just a few minutes before boarding a flight. It is indeed our aim to provide a result within the stated aim and over 98% of tests are delivered on time but occasionally things are outside of our control. If your sample needs a retest for example, that will extend the turnaround time. If you have made a mistake on entering your personal details (these are automatically printed on the testing certificates), then getting these changed will extend the turnaround time.
