Announcement

Update Issued 22nd October 2021 (08:24am)

The Government is expected to name a list of private providers approved to carry out Lateral Flow Tests for International Arrivals later today (22nd). Official guidance to create systems and seek approval to offer these tests was only published on the evening of 21st of October. We are therefore not in a position to offer such tests at this time. We are now carrying out an exercise to validate our systems and ascertain compliance with the guidance. We expect to be able to offer Day 2 Lateral Flow tests within the next week.

We appreciate that we are receiving thousands of enquiries from customers on a daily basis regarding this service and now guidelines have been published, we are working quickly to make this offering available. At this point, we are unable to provide any further information regarding these tests. In the meantime, our PCR tests for International Arrivals remain available for sale.

As yet, prospective providers of LFT for international arrivals have not been furnished with guidelines of how the service will work or the route to approval. We are therefore not in a position to answer any questions regarding the service. We kindly ask that customers to not contact our customer service team regarding LFT for international arrivals but to periodically check this notice which will be updated accordingly as and when advice has been made available.
